Corrections Policy

The Reasoned Home aims to keep published guidance accurate, useful, and current. When we identify a meaningful error or an outdated detail that changes how a reader should understand or use a guide, we review the issue and update the content when warranted.

What We Correct

We correct factual errors, materially outdated information, broken or misleading instructions, incorrect product or specification details, and wording that could cause a reader to misunderstand an important recommendation, limitation, or safety point.

How We Review a Report

We review the reported issue against the article, the evidence or sources used, and current authoritative information when relevant. If the issue is substantiated, we make an appropriate correction or clarification.

How Changes Are Disclosed

When a correction materially changes the advice, conclusion, safety guidance, or another important point, we aim to make the change clear to readers with an update or correction note in the article. Minor edits for grammar, readability, formatting, or broken links may be made without a separate correction note.

Updates That Are Not Corrections

Some articles may be updated because products, prices, platform behavior, manufacturer guidance, or other facts change over time. An update does not necessarily mean the original article contained an error.
