Affiliate Disclosure
Effective date: August 21, 2026
The Reasoned Home may use affiliate links as the publication develops. An affiliate link is a link that may allow us to earn a commission or other compensation if a reader makes a purchase or takes another qualifying action through that link.
Current Pre-Launch Status
As of the effective date above, affiliate links and affiliate tracking are not active on this pre-launch staging site. We are publishing this policy in advance so readers can understand how we intend to handle affiliate relationships when they are introduced.
How Affiliate Relationships Will Be Disclosed
When content includes an affiliate relationship or another material commercial connection that could affect how readers understand a recommendation, we will use a clear disclosure in the content itself. We will place the disclosure close enough to the relevant recommendation or link that readers can notice and understand the relationship without having to search for it.
How Recommendations Are Made
The availability of a commission should not determine whether a product or service is recommended or whether a statement is presented as fact. Recommendations should be based on usefulness, reader fit, relevant tradeoffs, and appropriate evidence.
Prices, Availability, and Third Parties
Prices, availability, product details, merchant terms, and offers can change. A link to a merchant or service does not mean that The Reasoned Home controls that third party, its products, its pricing, its policies, or its availability.
